TRB Orvis seminars in Houston this weekend

Marcus Enriquez, manager of Orvis Houston has been kind enough to ask Kelly to give a slide show at the new Orvis location in the Woodlands.The seminar is today at 2pm at the brand new location on Woodlands Pkwy. He'll be talking about advanced techniques for catching huge river smallmouth bass on the Blanco River. Sunday finds us at the original Westheimer location for a second slide show for anyone not able to check out the new Orvis location. That will also be at 2pm. Hope to see you there.
Even though we have had precious little rain in the Blanco watershed, the fishing continues strong in the river as fish have been concentrated into smaller water. Dr. Bill Beltz of Williamsport, PA came in on friday for a day trip and was well rewarded with a beautiful 20 inch hybrid smallmouth that he caught on a 5 inch pearl fluke rigged weightless. We are looking forward to getting you out on the river this summer.Last year was great, but this year should be even better. Thanks TRB
