Dear Transportation Professional:
The second conference of the Transportation Research Group of India (2nd
CTRG) will be held from December 12 to 15, 2013 at Agra (Jaypee Palace
Hotel). We invite you to attend this conference and make it a success.

The conference welcomes papers from practitioners and researchers in all
disciplines of transportation. For more details on the themes please visit
the conference website.
You are requested to submit extended abstracts on original and unpublished
work for the conference. The last date for submitting extended abstracts
is March 15, 2013. The submission portal will be open from February 20,
2013.
Each extended abstract will go through a double blind review overseen by
an international scientific committee. Invitations for submitting full
papers will be sent based on the review decisions on the extended
abstracts. Please visit the conference website for details on the
submission guidelines and review process.
All accepted full papers (those selected for oral as well as for poster
presentations) will be published as proceedings of the 2nd CTRG by
Elsevier as an issue in its series "Procedia -- Social and Behavioral
Sciences." The publication will be available online as well as a CD. (All
papers in the proceedings can be downloaded free of charge).
As with the first conference of the Transportation Research Group of India
held at Bangalore (Vivanta by Taj Hotel) in December of 2011 we will have
tutorials/workshops on various topics of interest to practitioners and
researchers. These will be held by experts from India and around the
world. We will also have various keynote lectures. The tutorials and
keynote lectures will be announced in due course of time. Please visit the
conference website for any updates.
Of course the city of Agra has various other attractions including the Taj
Mahal. The conference website already has some information about the venue
and the city. We will add more information on hotels and site-seeing
opportunities in the next few months.
We hope to see you in Agra.
