I have a 2006 Envoy/40ft/4slideouts. My wife thought it would be nice
to have a dishwasher when we ordered the coach.......well it has never
been used and wants to replace it with an oven. Is the cut out for the
dishwasher the same as the oven? Can you use the same power outlet
that was for the dishwasher? What oven models were used in 2006 was it
electric or propane? Does anyone have suggestions on models or where
to order them? Thanks for any help.........Curtis

Travel Supreme has never installed a traditional electric oven. They use
Magic Chef or Atwood propane ovens. The dishwasher is wired for 110 vac. I
don't believe I have seen a traditional oven function off of 110vac. The
microwave installed was generally a convection oven also. That is probably
your best bet. Do you have the two burner electric range top now or the
three burner propane? If it is the electric cooktop then you will most
likely need a countertop change. If it is the propane range, then just some
cabinet work would be all that is needed. Hope this gives you some
direction...

if you have microwave
replace it with the GE microwave and convection oven combo,,, Wife loves it and its 110
We opted no dishwasher and had three pull out drawers for pots and pans,
we full time and cook and have no issues washing the few dishes for the two of us
GE convection Micro oven is the way to go

You can also replace with a GE Advantium oven real easily. If you
really don't like the DW, remove it and have a cabinet guy build you a
couple of large drawers for pots and pans. BTW...I never thought
those gas ovens worked well anyway.

Thanks Bishop,
My cooktop is a Magic Chef 3 burner, I did find a Magic Chef 3 burner
sealed top oven/w broiler at Camping World today. As you said I will
have to add new wood to the sides and move the horizontal cherrywood
from the top of the dishwasher to the bottom. Do you know the brand of
Stain the factory used on the cherry cabinets?
Which of the two Ovens do you think is better product the Magic Chef
or Atwood?
Thanks again.....Curtis

We have the same convection/micro also we have not tried the convection oven part as of yet. More storage would be great and my wife agreed that she would rather have more storage. I had the factory make cabinet doors for the opening on the desk before they closed, does anyone know if there is someone still around the old factory that could make two cherry doors and two pullout drawers for the opening of existing dishwasher?

The making of doors/drawers is no big deal. Any finish carpenter or
cabinetmaker can do this. And get a reference on a local painter to
do the stain. Or pull a door and let a good paint supplier color
match it. Of course, there are lots of these guys around Elkhart or in
Red Bay AL who will do this kind of work.

The brand of stain is Mohawk though I’m not certain what the name of the exact color is. Magic Chef and Atwood are made by the same people so the quality is pretty much the same. I hope this helps.
