HELP!!! We just discovered that all around the curved edge of our
roof on our 2005 TS Select Fiver the clear coat is peeling off! It
was discovered when we were having our unit washed and waxed by a
professional service. They pointed it out to us and said it needed
attention before it became worse. Anyone else out there have this
problem or suggestion on what to do? We live in North Las Vegas, NV
if anyone knows of a place to take it to be fixed or a product we can
use to do it ourselves. We also discovered a small crack in the
fiberglass in the front corner?

Yes,

We just discovered the same problem on our 2005 40DS04. I guess it's
time for a trip to the paint shop.

have the same problem with my 2005 select. Precision always seems to
come up when there is an issue they can make money on. Wonder if
dupont is still standing behind thier paint? Althought my rig was
painted with sherwin williams color (base)?????

that i believe was a dupont clear coat I may be wrong.  Would lov to hear any thing anyone has to share

Same problem with a 2006 mid-engine painted by precision.

Thanks for the lead and responding, Jon. Unfortunately, we no longer
have a Precision Paint body shop here in Las Vegas. I'm trying to get
a response via email out of DuPont but to no avail as yet. We are in
the process of selling our rig or trading for smaller RV so I'm in a
quandry as to whether I'll fix or just let new owner have the
discount. :(

Thanks for the response rickster. I'll post if I get a response from
Dupont on this. My rig has been stored more than out on the road -
thought it was being protected.

We understand the concerns among TS owners and we'd like to offer some
input.

We used Dupont products until 2001. We then switched to Sherwin
Williams products almost exclusively on all units (regardless of
manufacturer) we ran until the fall of 2007. At that time we moved to
Sikkens coatings by Akzo Nobel, which we still use with great
results. All TS units painted with Sherwin Williams carried a full 2
year warranty from the date of paint issued by Sherwin Williams.

Peeling clear is a common issue in the RV industry, not just with
Travel Supreme. We have repaired coaches manufactured and painted by
Newmar, Monaco, Gulf Stream, Winnebago, Prevost and Fleetwood, all
with peeling clear. Peeling roof clear does not indicate that the
whole bus has or is going to have problems. The roof areas can be
refinished without disturbing the paint job on the rest of the coach.
