If you are the orifinal owner and irs Diamond Shield they have a life time guarantee and will replace it at your location for free. Had it done last summer...took the tech 2 days.

Well sorta, one saying that if i was the original owner and if it was diamond shield, it has a lifetime warranty however I am a second owner and I do not know what brand name is on it. Thank you for asking dave. I was wanting to remove it myself, I know it will be very hard to do (I think).

Xylene Solvent and a  Blow dryer and Plastic Razor blade Scrapers you will need MANY MANY plastic razor blades.  Heavy duty Playtex  gloves.  Xylene SOAKED rag Held on the Small area then slowly scraped away with Plastic razor blade.   No damage to my paint,  Work out of Sun and a WELL ventilated Area.

I would rather have a BRA that wears my Paint then this STUFF NEVER NEVER again it was a royal Pain to take off 3 full days…..

Jon, thank you so much, i understand it is a pain to take off. you are the first one to actually give me meaningful instructions. I want to take it off because it looks so bad, we want to sell the coach.we not need it. I be glad to give particulars if someone interested. I do not know if we are allowed to put it in this forum. can't remember the actual rules. I do not want to break the rules. thanks again.
Oh where can I get the solvent or do i just google it?

I removed the shield from my 07 Alante a few years ago, without damaging the paint using Xylene. After getting the film off I used Xylene and also a spray gel glue removal product, don't remember the brand. Working 3 or 4 hours a day it took me 4 days to finish! Since then I've heard that there is a new product that is supposed to do a better job than Xylene. You might do some online searches to find out if these rumors are true..
Good luck, Al
