Greetings, fellow Travel[ers] Supreme,
I'm reading all of the complaints about windshields popping out and am thankful that has never happened to us. We have a 2004 38' DS04 [350 Cummins, 4 slides] and in travels all over the U.S., including from Ohio to Alaska and back, not one windshield issue. We do not have X-bracing and yet the coach handles just fine. My question: Has anyone else with a sub-40 ft. coach felt the need to do X-bracing or had windshield issues, or is the problem limited to the 40-45 ft. coaches? I would be interested to hear from those of us who have the shorter units.
BTW, lest you think I just got on here to brag about our lack of problems, we got the all-electric version and have had MAJOR electrical issues from the time of delivery. Every time I think we've gotten things under control, something else happens! Still, we love our coach and love traveling in it. Please, let me hear from you if you have a less-than-40 ft. coach, or if you have the all-electric version. Thanks!
