Menorca question: Ciutadela or Mahon?

Hi Fellow Travelers,
We’ll be in Menorca for 4 days next month. Don’t want to switch hotels. We know the island is small enough to make day trips, so should we stay in Mahon or Ciutadella? They both look cool. Any recommendations?
