Interesting article in the BBC today about attitudes towards the changes planned for the Valle de los Caídos, which we've mentioned a few times before on this list.

I heard a feature about this on BBC radio the other day. What a mess,
eh? All countries have their sensitive spots. In the UK it's Class /
Privilege, but Spain has at least two - Francoism and Bullfighting!

Although to the Spaniards, it doesn't seem to be the same.

Talk about a bull fight, and you will get a firm opinion, and surprise
that any should disagree with them.

Talk about Franco, and everyone goes quiet, and says, some things are
best left in the past. Rarely hear any opinions.
