Hi John,

Paris weather is very changeable…we always carry different types of clothing to accommodate the weather.  We layer…if it’s cold, we have heavy sweaters to wear under a trench coat, gloves, and scarf, and if it’s very warm, we have short sleeve shirts.  The first year we went there, it rained the whole time.  The second year we went, I didn’t recognize the city J  It was sunny and 70 degrees the whole time, at the same time of year, and the roses were blooming!  We have experienced warm weather and very cold in the same week.  However, Paris has had a very cold winter, so hopefully, the summer will be warm and sunny.  Here’s hoping you have beautiful weatherJ  I too have been looking at the weather in Paris because we’ll be there in April, and I’m hoping for a little warmer weather with not a lot of rain.

I saw that it snowed in Paris yesterday! I sent my friends an email asking if they got any where they live, between Melun and Fontainebleau. I'm hoping for a great summer there; last year I understand it was not so good: gray and wet. I can stay home and get gray and wet (I live in Seattle, well-known for wet weather).
