Looking at the schedule for this fiesta really makes me wish I were there.

One of my favorite "traveling luck" stories involved flamenco in Sevilla. We were out walking when we heard some flamenco music and singing from somewhere nearby. Following our ears, we came to the University of Seville (which is situated in the cigarette factory of Carmen fame). There, about 30 students of the school of dance were holding a protest (against the naming of a new head of the dance school - clearly they didn't agree with the appointment); the protest consisted of a few shouts, then a bunch of flamenco, followed by a few more shouts and some more flamenco. We watched for over an hour, at which point the demonstration petered out. No flamenco tableau there!
