I think you really have to help us a little more. Spain is such a
large and diverse country, at least by European standards, that you
really have to give us more information about what you want to see and
do, your interests and likes.
Spain has many historical cities with world-class museums and
centuries old monuments: cities such as Madrid, Barcelona, Seville,
Granada and Córdoba. Of these, the last 3 are in the south.
In the south of Spain, April will probably bring temperatures of
around 18-25ºC which means on warm, sunny days you'll be able to walk
around in a t-shirt but you certainly won't want to go batheing in the
sea. It can also be cooler and in fact April is probably the month
that receives the most rain, all over Spain.
In any case, please let us know what your interests are for this
visit: e.g. monuments and museums, walking and landscapes, beach &
coast areas, a bit of everything in the main cities, etc. etc.
Roger.
