I hope you will forgive me the immense satisfaction of saying "I was
right!"

The (London) Times yesterday carried a story about two of Goya's
Pinturas Negras, which after intensive investigation have revealed
hidden details. Particularly "El Perro Semihundido", which now
appears to have had two birds in the large blank space above the dog.
Well, I didn't specify birds in my post "Un Hombre Semihundido", but I
certainly saw something.

The only downside is that the picture is now a lot less enigmatic.
