I agree. What is the reason for having wi-fi at Shwedagon? This is considered the most sacred spot in Myanmar. There is no reason for anyone to be using laptop computers and iPads at Shwedagon. If a lot of people walked around the pagoda complex looking at some electronic screen (and not the beauty of the pagoda) it would make the place look like a coffee shop. I hope they do NOT have wi-fi there! They must "draw the line" at doing stupid things like that.

i am sure that there will be some negative impact but generally I welcome this dination.
