Dear All,

I would immensely appreciate it if anybody could advise:

1) Could tour companies apply for multiple-entry business visas for their business associates or consultants?

2) If it is possible, kindly advise the procedures, please?

Yours sincerely,
Moe

Tour companies cannot apply Business Visa on arrival using Tour Company Registration. Confirmed with Yangon Airport Immigration on 7th Sept, 2013.

Their rationale is that Tour Companies should arrange tourist visa for their business associates.

Dear Ko Aye Min Oo,

Thanks a lot for your information.

Although I would not argue with you as it is not your responsibility, I would say it is a "ridiculous rationale" since tour companies may have business associates or counterparts who may be required to come into Myanmar a few times within a short time span especially when organizing large MICE groups. If only those who issue "rationales" were "rational".

Thanks again for your info.

Yours sincerely,
Moe

Share info:

"Business Visa with the letter from Travel Agent"

It is hard to say this will apply to all, but i would say, YES, we can.

if your travel partner is visiting Myanmar and require Business Visa, you simply send letter with your company registration copy to the respective embassy where they are applying for. Then, your partner will have BUSINESS visa in advance which will entitle to stay in BURMA for 70 Days. After he/she get this done for several times, he/she can even apply BUSINESS VISA multi-entry valid for 6 months.

This is how some of those foreigners are working here, not only in Tourism, but in different sectors too. This is illegal working I suppose.

If one way is not working find another way :-).

Hope this help you.

Cheers,
WZ
