
It says there are 3 facts why it's being collected.
(1) to restore/renovate ancient ruins
(2) to build toilets for tourists
(3) as other tourist destinations usually collect "entrance fees as well as camera fees"
For No (1) purpose, if they intend to do it like "Shwe Inn Dein pagodas" I don' t think it's a good idea to pay "money" to destroy all archeological values. I totally agree with No. (2) but since Pa-O National Organization has been collecting "entry fees" along with compulsory guide fees in the area, PNO should take the responsibility. I don't think "Phone Gyi" from that monastery should not do it. For No (3) as discussed in No.(2) PNO is having benefits on this and they should do something else back there. Otherwise, it's all nickle and dime. Just my humble opinion ..
