State-owned Myanmar Airways will launch daily domestic flights from Yangon to Nyaung U, Mandalay and Heho on October 25.
“We are planning to offer services for the convenience of passengers both for ticketing and in-flight services,” Than Tun, managing director of the Myanmar Airways, said.
Passengers can book tickets online or over the counter.
The new services mostly target foreign travellers coming to Myanmar through Yangon International Airport.
The flights will first use ATR-72 airplanes with a seating capacity of 70 until Myanmar Airways replace them with Brazil-made aircrafts once the latter are ready.
