Competition on the route comes from two other Thai LCCs with Nok Air and Thai AirAsia both already serving the market with thrice-daily flights each. According to OAG Schedules Analyser data, Thai Lion Air will this summer be operating a total of 23 routes, 18 of which will be from its Bangkok base. According to ch-aviation the airline’s fleet currently comprises 21 aircraft; eight 737-800s and 13 -900ERs.
