Dear CATA Members,
Following a long hour meeting yesterday evening (from 3pm – 7:30pm), participating by 43 attendants of which 16 person from 6 Tourist Guide Associations. We have reached and agreement that MOU is signed with main contents as below:
Article 2:
All parties this MOU agreed to set the new raising of daily wage for tourist guide will take effect from 1st June 2013.
Article 3: (Tourist Guide Fee)
(The MOU only set for the main tour fee, the rest and other optional tour TO/TA need to deal directly with individual tour guide)

It is important to note that this MOU has end the month-long negotiation about the daily-wage raising requested by various tour guide association beginning 07 June 2013.
The signing of this MOU, has set and successful example of the high integrity and morality of the Khmer people which always share to save our beloved country whenever needed and illustrates the spirit the Khmer unity during the global integration period.
I like to take this opportunity to share with you a special thanks for CATA members who very active join the Sunday meeting yesterday and 10 Unity Agencies which contribute such a great force for winning situation of our Tourism Industry.

07:30 Breakfast time
09:00 Restart working preparing/edit/modify the MOU
12:00 Finish paper preparation and let Mr.Thann to copy and binding the meeting handbook
12:15 Check out from hotel and went to meeting venue
13:00 Meet some of TO/TA who are CATA members in the meeting venue
13:30 Finish Lunch and start CATA member Meeting
15:00 Coffee Break and wait tour Guide asso to join the meeting
15:20 Started Negotiation Meeting with 5 Tourist Guide Associations
19:00 Reach the agreement and instant preparing the content of MOU
19:30 Sign MOU as per attach.
20:30 Good dinner, but my tongue feel no taste
21:15 Flied back to Phnom Penh
