‐ Do you have good presentation skills and enjoy speaking front of a crowd?
‐ Do you have a passion for the city of Yangon?
‐ Are you enthusiastic to learn the history and challenges of the city?
Yangon Heritage Trust is looking for any graduates to train as tour guides for heritage walking tours in Yangon. You must be capable of leading an English language walking tour around the significant areas of the city. Experience as a tour guide is not essential as full training will be provided by the YHT prior to commencing guiding. The successful candidates will have the ability to entertain people from different backgrounds, a willingness to learn about the unique urban heritage of Yangon and be reliable and Successful applicants must be available for two days per week as walking tour guides for a minimum of six months from August 2014 to February 2015. Further contracts may be
available if the tours are successful.
