We are looking for weekly suggestions of what you would like to hear
about. Each week we will pick a member topic and try to explain any
and all questions. Are you curious about battery life and what effects
it? What are the proper way to maximize my inverter use? Why can't I
get AM radio on my dash radio? What do I do if my jack pump falls?
Please reply to this posting and we will get to detailing you
questions.
Thank you,
Bishop

Sounds Great !!
I like the idea,    I would Love to  see a computer Generated check list of all Maint and its intervals that they should be done and some insight on each
I would gladly PAY for THIS    A power point presentation would be great !!   Since most coaches are the same darn close it would be helpfull and heck CD rom that could be loaded and printed or kept in maint records on the coach but keep it on the puter  maybe a port hardrive keep with coach !!!  for the life of the coach like a shis LOG

Interesting concept. What if we were to take it a step further and
make it a web based service that could send you periodic reminders via
text or email? Then we could continue to add and update content.

Bishop, that sounds great! I'd think there are many of us out there
who get so busy traveling or other daily activities that we forget to
do our regular maintenance. A reminder like this would certainly help
keep on top of things. Also, I know there are differing opinions out
there on just what items need doing at a certain time....and which are
not. You could also quote a special promotional fee for doing
specific maint. items which might prompt members to get their rig to
your shop for doing this work.

Bishop,
It's due to you we TS owners have a lifeline and like 99% of TS owners I would follow you anywhere.

TOIPCS
1.  What/how is the best way to service the hydraulic system that operates your power steering and engine cooling fan.
2.  Due to the location of the fuel filter on the ILS engine.  Is there a kit that can change the location of the filter?
3.  List the different modifactions people have accomplished on their Travel Supreme.

Thanks for all you do!

Bishop I have the 42dso4 #1502 Is it possable to add a third ac
without a lot of trouble. I was told once the roof wasn't reenforced
for it and the wiring would be a problem. Thanks Dave

Dave,
I am going to assume that you motor home has an AC near the Driver's
seat and another in the Bed Room.
It is possible to install a 3rd AC. It is a bit of a pain. I can talk
with my parnters and come up with a package price including the AC
unit. As for the reinforcing of the roof. I would assume that the
rafters are there for the additional ac, you just have to know where
to cut. The only double rafters are for the ac mounts. You would hate
to be on the wrong side of the double rafter.

Bishop,

Thanks for the forum and all of the help. My thoughts at this
time for topics are:

1) Care and maintenance of slide outs. How and when to lube, how
to keep rubber seals in good condition, how to maintain slide covers,
what to do if not operating, what adjustments/alignment can be
performed by owners.

2) Appliance maintenance and trouble shooting.

3) Trouble shooting Equalizer leveling system.

Thanks.... Walt Roth

PS: We have traveled over 7000 miles since we were in Elkhart in
July and are now back in CA. Little or no significant problems along
the way..knock on wood

I agree/  The leveler system is not the greatest item in the coach.  I will be asking questions if others don't.
