Food Scavengers are Healthy Travelers
Travel Tip

Tourist normally eat 99 percent of their meals in restaurants.

Eating in tourist restaurants is extremely unhealthy unless you are on the 50 dollar per day food budget or you are good at ordering ala carte in strange languages. Over time, I have discovered menus in restaurants generally do not include either vegetable of fruit.

After 10 years of travel I have slowly broke the habit of eating three times a day. Rarely do I eat more than one sit down meal per day, now I am a scavenger.

I have learned, I need ! to focus on Fruits and Vegetables, and some form of Protein. The carbohydrates such as rice or spaghetti are incredibly easy to eat and difficult to avoid. I walk around daily shopping for nutritious foods, this is necessary; it is not a choice if I wish to be healthy.

When was the last time you had a helping of peas, string beans, asparagus or broccoli in a restaurant? There is a need to check out your eating habits, because malnutrition saps your energy.
