Us 90s kids remember, all to well, the catchy one-liners that brands in India came up with before the world became a smaller place with internet, cable television, and mobile phones ::insert nostalgia here::, so imagine my surprise when I heard that a Yashraj film was actually called dum laga ke haisha!
lekin main ye film bhi dekhoon gi..is k different subject ki waja say..aur ye bhi dekhna hai k film mein iss ko kis tra handle kia gaya hai..ager iss sensitive issue per comedy ker k actually aisay logon kaa mazaq urhaya gaya hai aur umeed hai k audience iss per hunsay gi enjoy kray gi ..tou main abhi bata doon main nahi hunsnay wali..kiunk shuker hai mera zouq itna bhudda nahi

Dum laga ke haisha reminds us of Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi except that this one is more subtle and less commercial. Based on an arranged marriage this film may come under the comedy genre but has a high degree of emotional quotient and is quite nuanced.
The audience can connect with the movie right from beginning, till the end, and not for a moment lose the connection. All characters and situations in the film are so relateable, the audience can see their own relatives or their weddings or their fights right in front of them on the screen.
Kumar Shanu plays a cameo and makes a very short and graceful appearance in the film. Background music flows seamlessly with the film. From the songs, Moh Moh ke dhaage is very melodious. Just like the movie, this song is going to stay with the audience for long.
Did you know movie theatres are open again? Movie theatres in Delhi have started screening adhering to safety protocols. Miraj Cinema Halls have spread all over the country and now they have opened one in Shahdara. A treat for the locals we say!
