5th Grade Band Recruiting Help Needed and Information!

Dear Parents,
Due to scheduling and budget restrictions, it looks like I may not be able to visit all of the elementary classrooms this year to talk to the 5th graders about joining band in 6th grade.
I am very blessed and fortunate to have wonderful families that make up the Traughber Bands! The greatest compliment I can receive as a teacher is when younger siblings join band. As I look back on the past 16 years here at Traughber, I remember seeing young elementary students attending the concerts of their older brothers and sisters and then one day they are coming in for instrument selection!
I am writing to ask a favor. Please spread the word and information regarding beginning band appointments. Appointments will be held on April 1 & 2. The PTC Wizard website is up and students may sign up for an appointment time. http://trjh308.ptcwizard.com
All of this information will be sent to the elementary music teachers and there is information regarding beginning band on my class website: https://sites.google.com/a/oswego308.org/traughber-band/information-for-5th-graders. I am also including a handout that may be shared with potential band students.
