Romans is a 2013 Malayalam comedy thriller film directed by Boban Samuel and written by Y. V. Rajesh. The film stars Kunchacko Boban and Biju Menon in the lead roles, along with Niveda Thomas, Lalu Alex, Sukumari and Kochu Preman in supporting roles. The film was a blockbuster at the box office and was remade in Telugu as Brother of Bommali in 2014.
The plot of the film revolves around two con artists, Shibu (Kunchacko Boban) and Joy (Biju Menon), who impersonate as priests and take refuge in a church run by Father Augustine (Lalu Alex). They try to escape from their enemies and also win the love of two sisters, Anna (Niveda Thomas) and Lisa (Vedhika). However, their lies are exposed when the real priests arrive and chaos ensues.
The film was praised for its comedy, suspense and performances of the lead actors. The film also had a catchy soundtrack composed by M. Jayachandran, with lyrics by Santhosh Varma. The songs "Ee Mizhikalin" and "Akashavani" were especially popular among the audience.
