When I create packages with trapper-tools/generate_package.py then upload them with 'Add resource' I get an error saying File type application/x-zip-compressed is not supported.

I've worked around it by hacking the code that checks the file type, but it seems like a bug or some incompatibility problem to me.

Has anyone else encountered this, and what fixes have you found?

Cheers

Hi Richard,
Probably this is still not well communicated in the documentation but we do not use/maintain trapper-tools anymore. Please check trapper-client instead:

Here you will find the pre-compiled versions of this desktop app for Ubuntu & Win:

Hi Kuba,

Thanks. I think my problem was more a misunderstanding of the difference between 'add resource' and 'upload collection' . Now I've looked around a bit, I've found it easiest to open a samba share and copy my collections directly to the vol_external_media folder.

As far as trapper-client vs trapper-tools, I'd been trying to get trapper-client to work, but failing each time with library problems. Thanks for the link to the binaries, I'd missed that so I'll give it a try.

Am I right that the only documentation is at https://trapper-project.readthedocs.io/en/latest/?

Cheers
Richard
