Error during installation

Dear Trapper Team,

we want to install an instance of Trapper-Project on a virtual server to continue our photo trap management. The virtual server is based on Ubuntu Server 20.04 LTS. The installation of Docker and the test with "Hello World" ran without errors. I followed your instructions for installing using Docker, but I get the errors shown below when "docker-compose up". The overview of the Docker containers also shows me that two containers are not started.

Do you have a tip where the installation fails?

Hi Markus,

I've just got Trapper-Project running on an Ubuntu 20.04 VM (running on a synology NAS). I followed the instructions at trapper...@googlegroups.com. I had a few problems, especially with the nginx processing not starting and the createsuperuser taking a very long time to start running.

I'm interested that you're starting docker-compose manually, rather than using the start.sh script. Is there a particular reason for that?

Otherwise, I might be able to help a little. I'm really replying to give you hope that it is possible to get Trapper working.

Thanks a lot for your feedback and sorry for this late answer! We are about to publish a new release of Trapper still this month. In the meantime please be sure that you use the development branch for your tests https://gitlab.com/oscf/trapper-project/-/tree/development.
