If your organization allows, you can add external people to a shared drive as long as they have an email address associated with a Google account. Any content an external person contributes (for example, edits to, creating, or uploading a file) in a shared drive created by someone in your organization is transferred to and owned by your organization.
For people whose Google Workspace edition doesn't include shared drives, you can only add them with Viewer access. However, you might be able to give them comment or edit access to specific files in the shared drive, depending on folder permissions. See How sharing a folder in a shared drive works.
* In Google Drive for desktop or files in the Chrome OS Files app, Contributor access gives only read access to files. To allow users to create, upload, and edit files in a shared drive in Google Drive for desktop and Chrome OS, give the user Content manager or Manager access.
This chart is for reference purpose only for those departments already using the Managed department folders. CCS is strongly encouraging these departments to migrate to Google Shared drive as soon as possible.
Individual team members with Manager, Content Manager and Contributor access can share files in the Shared Drive with other individuals. Managers in the Shared Drive can share subfolders in the shared drive with non members of the shared drive. Managers can also add access to folders and files for members with limited access.
I presume that the problem comes from an old installation of FMS Data Manager still being in the registry, but the location where the installation supposedly sits no longer exists. But I am not enough of a computer person to be sure that this is the reason.
I have bought 3 of these drives, and 1 of them works fine and is now part of my storage pool, but the other 2 gives me an error when I install them in the DS. The error is "Multiple reset command errors have occurred...".
I suspect that the disks are rejected by the DS because of some historic data. First, I tried connecting the two problematic disks using the 2 ESATA ports of the DS1515+, but the disks did never appear in the storage manager, and I saw some reset/connection errors in the dmesg log (using the linux terminal). This was probably because of older unstable ESATA cables. But my theory is that these events when the disks were connected by ESATA, has caused the DS to "blacklist" these disks, as they have once caused "reset commands" due to flaky cables.
But Mendoza appears eager to embrace that part of the job. On his first day, he addressed media members by name and spoke about his hopes for their relationship. He answered questions in English and Spanish. He name-checked popular Mets broadcasters Gary Cohen, Keith Hernandez and Ron Darling. He also referenced his experience as a manager in the ultra-competitive Venezuelan Winter League, where fans and media members alike watch games intently.
On the culture he hopes to build
Like most new managers, Mendoza spoke in platitudes at his introductory press conference, talking about the importance both of trust and communication off the field, and of fundamentals and hard work on it.
Wii Backup Manager is a program to copy Wii games from your computer to a USB drive so you can play the games on your Wii. All UQ staff and students that are listed as a collaborator on a record can access the mapped drive at all sites across UQ. If working away from any of these sites (e.g. home or overseas) a VPN connection to UQ is required to access UQRDM data via a mapped drive. Refer to these instructions about how to connect to the VPN.
How you map the drive will depend on the operating system you are using. Detailed instructions for Windows, Mac, and Linux users are provided. If you require assistance with this process please contact ITS Support.
After your project record has been approved and your storage has been provisioned, you need to restart your computer in order to access the mapped UQ-Research (R:) drive. If you still can't see the R drive after restart the computer, please see Alternative windows instructions.
All of your allocation folders (for each UQRDM project record created) should be listed within this drive. This means that you will not have to map a new drive for each new record that is created within the UQRDM.
There is no consistent way to map the drive using file browsers such as Nautilus, Dolphin and Thunar. You may have success in getting this to work by using the details from the instructions for a command line mount below, but it will depend on your local configuration of samba.
As a Windows 10 user, you must know how to use Disk Management to manage your hard disk partition, or to solve some common problems such as initializing a new drive, extending a basic volume, shrinking a basic volume, etc. Here is what Disk Management in Windows 10 can help:
For example, AOMEI Partition Assistant allows you to extend partition whether or not there is unallocated space right behind the extended partition in Windows. As only as there is unallocated space adjacent to the partition, no matter if it is on the left side, or right side, the Resize/Move Partition of AOMEI Partition Assistant can help you enlarge the partition with the unallocated space. What's more, you can even use AOMEI Partition Assistant to enlarge a partition without unallocated space on the hard drive.
AOMEI Partition Assistant should be a great Windows disk manager that can totally replace Disk Management in Windows 10. Here we have compared the AOMEI Partition Assistant Professional edition with Windows Disk Management:
How do I access Disk Management in Windows 10?
Right-click on the Start button, select "Disk Management" from the context menu, or press Win + X and choose "Disk Management" from the Power User menu. In this post, we list 4 ways to open Disk Management, you can follow the steps to easily access this tool.
What should I do if Disk Management doesn't recognize a new disk or USB drive?
Disk Management is also available for USB, SD card, and various external disk/drive. If your USB drive is unrecognizable on Disk Management, you can check the physical connections, try a different USB port, and ensure the disk is properly initialized. In Disk Management, right-click on the disk, select "Initialize Disk," and follow the prompts.

Product managers win when their products are adopted.
Therefore, half of the battle is building amazing products, and the other half of the battle is selling amazing products. This principle is especially relevant for B2B products.
Effective product managers need to understand how to best work with their sales teams. We mentioned previously in this series that you can get involved with your sales teams at varying levels of commitment. There are three levels, starting from easiest to hardest:
Drive pools are groups of tape drives allocated for various administrator-defined storage tasks, and enable you to delimit storage processes based on data type, performance, security, location, or all of these variables. Drive pools can reside in a single tape library or span multiple tape libraries.
