Temper is the feature film soundtrack composed by Anup Rubens for the 2015 Telugu film of the same name. It consists of six songs all composed by Rubens and Telugu lyrics penned by Bhaskarabhatla, Kandikonda and Viswa. The Telugu soundtrack was marketed by Aditya Music and was released on 28 January 2015 to positive reviews from critics.
Devi Sri Prasad was selected as the music director of the film in late June 2014. But Rama Rao Jr. insisted Puri Jagannadh to have a different composer.[1] Anup Rubens replaced Devi Sri Prasad in late September 2014 while Mani Sharma was selected to compose the film's background score.[2] Rubens was alleged to use a tune rejected by Jagannadh for the song Bhaje Bhaaje in the film Gopala Gopala which he denied in an interview later.[3] Rahul Kumar, mostly known as Roll Rida, rapped for the songs.[4] The track list was allegedly leaked online five days ahead of its official release by its makers. It featured six songs but the list did not feature names of lyricists and singers.[5] The official track list unveiled featured five songs and a Theme music. Bhaskarabhatla penned lyrics for three songs while Viswa and Kandikonda penned the lyrics for one each.[6]
Madhuurima said in an interview to Suresh Kavirayani of Deccan Chronicle that she participated in few action sequences with Rama Rao Jr. in the film and added that she has no songs with him.[52] Rama Rao Jr.'s character was named Daya and he was shown as a sub inspector of police who by his own admission is ruthless, fully corrupted, criminal minded and 100% cunning.[53] For a particular scene where he had to walk with bare chest, Rama Rao Jr. skipped drinking a glass of water for 18 hours continuously.[54] Aggarwal said in an interview to IANS that her character would become the reason for the transformation in the protagonist's character after she forces him to take up an issue.[55] Posani Krishna Murali was seen in the role of a sincere constable who hates Daya because of his corrupt nature.[56]

In contrast, Haricharan Pudipeddi of IANS gave the film 3 out of 5 stars and termed Temper a regular Puri Jagannadh film salvaged by Rama Rao Jr.'s performance which he called a "terrific" one.[173] Behindwoods gave the film 2.25 out of 5 stars and stated "A thin one-liner made into a film with underused artists and a disengaging screenplay! Thanks to the well-known faces, reasonable songs and Junior NTR's dance, Temper becomes bearable."[174]
Fatehi gained popularity in Telugu films for her item songs in films like Temper, Baahubali: The Beginning and Kick 2 and has also starred in two Malayalam films, Double Barrel and Kayamkulam Kochunni. In 2015, Fatehi participated as a contestant on the reality television show Bigg Boss 9. In 2016, she was a participant in the reality television dance show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa. She appeared in the Bollywood film Satyameva Jayate where she was featured in the recreated version of the song "Dilbar"[7] and the song crossed 20 million views on YouTube in the first 24 hours of its release, making it the first Hindi song to achieve such numbers in India. She also collaborated with the Moroccan hip-hop group Fnaïre to release an Arabic version of the Dilbar song.[8][9]
