Young Tamil music director Jerard Felix, who composed DMK's (Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam) 2021 political campaign song, 'Stalin Dhan Vararu', entered wedlock recently. Jerard tied the knot with Preshi Shanthana on June 30 (Wednesday), and the wedding took place at Kristhu Jyothi Church in Ramapuram. Later in the evening, the reception happened at Park Hyatt Hotel. The pictures and videos from his wedding reception are doing rounds on social media. Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin, along with his son and MLA, Udhayanidhi Stalin graced the reception event and blessed the newly married couple.
Udhayanidhi's post is loosely translated in English as, "Dear brother Jerard Felix, who composed music for DMK's election campaign song, 'Stalin Dhan Vararu... Vidiyal Thara Poraru...', got married to Preshi Shanthana. I took part in the reception, along with the Honourable Chief Minister and wished the couple. Wishing them to live long like Tamizh".
Jerard Felix was the music director of the viral hit song, 'Stalin Dhan Vararu... Vidiyal Thara Poraru', that reached the masses instantly with its catchy tune. The song was crooned by Anthony Daasan, and Vaishnavi, while Madhan Karky penned the lyrics of the song. The song gave Jerard Felix the much needed breakthrough and he is currently said to be in talks to compose music for upcoming Tamil films and we can expect official announcements regarding the same soon.
