Agenda:
Presentation will start by introducing
some common clustering terms (load balancing, fault tolerance,
scalability) and techniques for achieving distribution, replication and
invalidation. Then he will present the tools that are the backbone of
clustering in JBoss: from the network level (jgroups) up to application
layers (JBossCache/Infinispan) – these tools can be used to leverage
clustering in your own (standalone) applications.
In this session you will learn:
* some main clustering concerns and vocabulary
* general approaches to solve above mentioned concerns
* an overview of the tools that JBoss supplies for achieving clustering and their key features
