Folks—

Prepare for another Duncan Crary Extravaganza as Mayor Col. Albert Pawling returns from the beyond to endorse the PreRamble!

Be at Second and Broadway just before Noon tomorrow, Thurs 9/24.  Come on your bike, skateboard, canoe, scooter, kayak, horsecart or by foot if you can—  this is all about an alternate transportation festival!

Col. Pawling, who hasn't been seen publicly for nearly 200 years, will make an appearance.  Fresh from a sitting for a memorial statue, the dear departed Colonel will give us a piece of his mind—  figuratively, I hope, those zombie movies give me the creeps!

Be on hand as Troy's first Mayor (and Rensselaer County's first Sheriff) reads a proclamation to the assembled throng, honoring Troy's PreRamble, to be held this Saturday, September 26.

Bring cameras, you'll want to send this one to your friends as our dear first Mayor takes us through a lighthearted romp in honor of this historic occasion.

Note:  If you've never been to one of Duncan's events, you are in for a treat.  Duncan Crary is known for digging up all sorts of relics from the past.  Indeed, his mission is to remind us that Troy has the bones of a great community, and all we need do is bring these mummified remains into the light of day.  Turn out and help resurrect old traditions, as we correct the grave error of individual motorized transit!
