Hello group,

Would someone be able to assist me in fully installing this tool locally? I was able to install partially but I am having difficulty with selecting any environment options and as such I am not seeing choices for CCDA document validation. Please see attached for screenshots of the web based tool versus my local installation. Please advise on the steps I need to take further. Please feel free to email or call me.

Thanks,

Hello,

Which portions of the tooling are you planning to use? Depending on
your use case, it may make more sense to install the Edge Testing Tool
(ETT) as that has incorporated virtually all of the features that were
in the TTT.

Hi Andrew,
I am seeking to install the C-CDA Message Validator to validate CCDA transmissions and the information content needed for a successful transmission.

Andrew,
Is it possible to set up a call to get some assistance with this installation? Perhaps a visual trace of the steps can identify what I am doing wrong or what I need additionally for a successful installation. Please advise on the possibility of having a webinar session to work through this. I'd be willing to work with whatever time you have available.

Hi,

Is this for C-CDA R2.1 or C-CDA R1.1 (or both)?

Andrew,
I honestly don't know the differences in the versions you are referring to. Ultimately, what I want is a replica of the web based version to run on my local PC. Can you assist with that? I can show you how far we've gotten and maybe you can tell me if I am missing a file or if a setting is off etc. Let me know if you have time and I can attempt to set up a call.

Hello,

If you are looking to set up the environment for TTT tool you need to have the external cache folder.
You can find it here
https://bitbucket.org/jperugini/ett/downloads/external_cache.zip
Once this is unzipped on your system you need to go to Toolkit Configuration and set the property for the external to point to this folder.

All,
Please see attached for what we were able to install and it's difference from the web-based tool. I really think a short call with the developers can set us on the right track.

Julien/Andrew,
Would you be able to willing to spend some time with our team to get this installed fully?

Hello,

I am sorry I think I gave you the wrong link for the external cache.
The correct link for TTT should be
https://sourceforge.net/projects/iheos/files/external_cache.zip/download

Inside the external_cache folder you should have a file named tk_props.txt.
This file holds some of the configuration for TTT, you should change some of them to reflect your system configuration.
I believe if you set the property toolkit.home: direct (it should already be set in this external cache) you will have the C-CDA validation.

Let me know.

Hey Andrew/Julien,
My colleague is making great strides in setting up the local version of the web-based NIST tool. The local page mirrors that of the web-based version now. The last issues we are having is the 'validate' button does not work and the 'inspect metadata' button is greyed out. Attached are screenshot to show the validation results we expected to see but did not realize with the local installation. Any suggestions for this final step?

Hi Andrew/Julien,
This is a follow up. Do you have any further suggestions as to how we may proceed to have this tool functional? Any additional support would be immensely appreciated.

Hi,

I do not think the inspect meted button does anything for C-CDA validation so I think this is ok if this one is greyed out.

However the validate button should be working.

I do not really know what could be happening here so I might need more information to help m figure out what is going on.

Could you give us the log output of what is happening when you press the validate button?

Log file should be located in TOMVAT_DIR/logs/catalina.out

Thanks,

Julien

Hey Julien,

I went back in downgraded to Tomcat 5.5.36, paired it with xdstools2.200.war and loaded the externalcache.zip you provided a link for and it seems the Validate button is now responding for CCDAs. I will follow up with Shaun on this.

Thank you for all of your help Sir and enjoy your weekend.

Hello,

Glad you got it working. It is good to know that newer tomcat version cannot run xdstools2.war properly.

Let me know if you have more questions.

Thanks,

Julien

Hey Julien/Andrew,

Attached is a copy of the validation results for a CCD ran against the NIST saved locally? Any thoughts as to why the validation results ae displayed in this manner? Please advise.

Hi,

It looks like all the information is present, just incorrectly
displayed. Could it be a browser issue? We test using Chrome and
Firefox. Could you try one of those?

Thanks,
