Hi fellow Fellow AGIers,
I have myself considered the issue of transparency in AI,
especially considering how opaque code and data formats can be.
What I learned is that the difference between a language and a code,
is that codes are based on something abstract, whereas languages that
humans can easily communicate in all have much of the same grammar.
Thus for a number of years I've been working on Speakable Programming
for Every Language (SPEL). Who's core-language is used as a
machine-translation interlingua, allowing for translation to and from
formal variants of many of the worlds human languages. It can also
translate to javascript, and I'm currently working on an OpenCL
compatible VM.
As part of the transparency I invite you to have a look at the
encoding of the VM which I will be implementing in the near future.

Also you can have a look at the most recent version of the language.
Currently it can review the grammar words available and their intended
uses. They will be available in all supported languages either as
naturalized adaptations or glossing abbreviations.
The vocabulary is made by blending together a bunch of vocabulary
lists such as Wordnet, Oxford-3000 and UNL, translating them to around
25 different languages and removing words that don't translate well.
Then using the speech sounds of those words weighted by the number of
speakers, and generating words based on a fairly strict phonotactics
that should be pronounceable by the majority of humans.
For instance Hindi has a weight of 1.5 billion as in represents
Indo-Aryan languages, and Swahili has a weight of 600 million as it
represents Niger-Congo languages.

I am open to suggestions and there is always room for improvement and
participation.
Thanks
