Hi all,
We have exciting news--The Trans Oral History Project is in residency at UIC (University of Illinois, Chicago) this fall. That means we have a space for an installation, and we're putting on some workshops. We'd for love you to come out and support the project and have fun!We are kicking off our residency at UIC tomorrow and it would be great to see y'all. I've went ahead and included all the dates for our events and a flyer in case you wanted to help spread the word.

Opening
Wednesday, October 12
4:00 – 7:30 p.m
Come see our installation and contribute to our interactive timeline.

TOHP volunteer meeting

Thursday, October 25
4:00-5:00 p.m.
Learn more about how you can get involved with the Trans Oral History Project.

Relationship Building and Breaking
Tuesday, November 1
11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m
A lunchtime presentation and community discussion about the shifting role of the trans- community in the LGBT and Feminist movements.

Queer Story Share
Thursday, November 17
6:00 -8:00 p.m.
Come share and record stories with other folks in the community.

Closing reception
Tuesday, Nov 22,
 4:00 – 7:00 p.m.
Check out how the installation had grown over the course of the residency.

All events are taking place at 1007 W Harrison in Chicago.
