Recent Events
We just got back from a whirlwind tour of the Northeast. We visited Ithaca, New York City, and Philly last week where we interviewed over a dozen people and lead two interactive workshops in 5 days. Thank you everyone who came to our events, helped spread the word, and/or participated in the project! Like us on Facebook to see photos & video from that tour.

Upcoming Events
Transtastic: Expressing Trans* Narratives through Web Comics
Thursday, October 25th
6-9pm at Efebinas Cafe 1640 S Blue Island Ave. Chicago, IL

Get Involved
CALLING TRANS* ARTISTS-- we want to feature your visual artwork in a fundraising calender themed 2013 Queer Post-apocalyptic Survival. All contributors whose work is chosen will receive a copy of the calender and will have their bio featured. We accept any original work by a trans* identified artist that can be printed. This is a great way to get your work out in the community and support TOHP at the same time. Submit a digital copy of your work to transora...@gmail.com by November 1st.

CALLING EDUCATORS-- We are building a curriculum for GSA's and LGBT community groups about issues impacting the trans community. It will contain a series of lesson plans around Feminist movements, sex work, living with HIV, Immigration, and many more topics. If you are interested in working on a lesson plan, please contact us.

CALLING EVERYONE-- Help us grow the project by hosting us at your college/university, co-hosting a community event, transcribing an interview, editing an interview (in Chicago), or approach us with your skills/ideas and we'll talk about how your interests can fit into the project.

In the Community
Check out Chicago-based trans artists Kokumo, YEPP, and Ellie Navidson presenting their work as opening acts to The Secret History of Love, a dance performance based on LGBT elders histories.

Hi Everyone,
I just joined the group. I'm a MFA student in media arts at Southern IL University in Carbondale. Can you tell me more about how I might host an event at my school- I'd love to see about doing that.
Best,
Honna
