Also the fact that keyshot will take nearly any file you throw at it, with native support for fusion, rhino, sketchup, etc makes it very versatile. we often combine assets from these and online sources, plus data supplied by our clients, and not having to convert all the files first makes the process more streamlined.
I am personally very interested in all rendering technology, and would maybe want options to dive deeper. But with keyshot, everyone in our office is able to get along with it, and its very easy to troubleshoot and explain in general.
Your comments however have made me think, and when it comes time to upgrade, or when we reach the limitations of keyshot as it currently stands, I will have a fresh review of all the players before simply opting for the same again.
The title of this forum sounds like , 'don't use keyshot' subliminally. But I don't think that's what you meant. you're just giving your opinion and I respect that. in fact I am learning from you. Thanks for sharing your thoughts .
3. The Keyshot Network Monitor will open and auto-login as Keyshot-student (you may see a brief pop-up saying it cannot connect, but this is okay. If it does not auto-login, enter the username keyshot-student and the password student).
