Dear Colleagues,

Good afternoon. I hope this message finds you well, preparing to begin a joyous and restful winter break. I am sorry for the late posting.

I write urgently to ask you to encourage your Dominican students to apply for the Dominican Day Parade Scholarship competition. Last year 25 students received $1000 dollars each from the Dominican Day Parade Board of Directors. As a Board member, I can attest that this year the organization is aiming to increase the number of awardees and the monetary value of the awards.

Unfortunately, the current deadline is December 29, 2017. But the application is simple. Students should submit their applications electronically by going to https://dominicanparade.org/scholarship/

I would truly appreciate your help in spreading the word among college students who are Dominican by birth or descent even if they have completed one semester only. Un abrazo,
