Christy suggested I post events that could be applicable to you here.

The first is the inaugural Women 2.0 Founder Friday in Australia, which is happening at the commencement of Startup Weekend on 6 May. Women 2.0 is a great organisation doing some promising stuff to promote females in startups and tech around the globe.
