Verification Email not sent.

Hey. When I tried to sign up for the API initially it chucked back a an error stating that the service was currently down. When I tried a second time a bit later it chucked another error saying that the captcha was not successful. When I tried a 3rd time it said that the username and email was already in use. Confused I tried to log in and it said that the account was not verified and that I need to check my emails to verify it, however no email has come through. I hope someone may be able to help with my conundrum.
