Dear Colleagues,

We are delighted to announce the publication of a new special issue of Comparative Critical Studies titled "Exploring Code-Mixing and Hybridity in Literary Texts". This collection brings together diverse scholarly perspectives to examine how linguistic blending and hybridity reshape our understanding of literature.

You can explore the full issue and table of contents on the Edinburgh University Press website at the following link: https://www.euppublishing.com/toc/ccs/22/3

To complement the scholarly articles, we have also published a companion blog post. It includes an exclusive interview with Sabira Ståhlberg, a polyglot writer and artist whose work serves as a bridge between languages and cultures. You can find the interview here: https://euppublishingblog.com/2026/01/27/sabira-stahlberg-interview/

Please feel free to share this announcement with students, researchers or anyone interested in multilingual literature.

Best regards,

Marianna Deganutti and Julie Loison-Charles (Guest Editors)
