We will all meet on the road outside Bernicia House (the North East Ambulance Servies offices) on Goldcrest Way, Newburn Riverside Park at 10.00am. Details of how to get here are below.
If anyone is making their way by public transport, the 22 leaves Central Station at either 9.13, 9.25 or 9.35. The journey takes approx 15/18 mins. There is stop on Scotswood Raod adjacent to Newburn Riverside, and from there it is a 10 minute walk to Bernicia House. If in any doubt, google the North East Ambulance Service and you will find all these details on their web page.
By car, if you are coming from Newcastle, then come along Scotswood Road, past Scotswood Bridge, past B&Q and turn left at the roundabout past B&Q signpost to Newburn Riverside. Then turn left again at the next roundabout (opposite Quadrant Building) into Goldcrest Way. Bernice House (offices of the North East Ambulance Service) is about 1/4 mile down Goldcrest Way on the right hand side. You should park on the left hand side of the road opposite their offices (there should be plenty of space)
The walk is ending at Wylam (the Boat Hose), so we will need to have two cars in the Station Car Park at Wylam to ferry people back to the start.
