Not sure who would be interested in this training In  Newcastle, but I think it’s a real opportunity for working with the BME communities in the west end.

Sorry thought I'd sent these. These are the details for BEN rainbow training in the North East. 

 

As part of this work we have secured funding till March 2011 to develop a programme of training and support to BME community groups and environmental organisations to try and ensure that full environmental participation becomes a reality. The programme is called the BEN Rainbow Project  and will be delivered regionally. The details are attached, but we were hoping that BTCV would be interested in sending participants. We are have spaces for 2 staff members to take part in the programme, involving 2 1/2 day training sessions and  a 1 day site visit to meet with representatives from local BME communities, and through a series of tasks and assignments during the training and ongoing support build confidence, skills and knowledge.

 

The training dates for the North East are:

 

Training session 1 Wednesday 15th September

BME community visit Tuesday 28th September

Training session 2 Wednesday 6th October
