Something powerful is happening in Oakland this fall. Hundreds of community leaders, cultural organizers, social entrepreneurs and next economy innovators are coming together for a three-day, deep dive dialogue to advance real solutions for our city. This is an event by and for Oaklanders and beyond. We are excited to announce program highlights as 90+ presenters have confirmed that they will be participating! This unprecedented gathering will provide a forum for building relationships across sectors and advance solutions to create the Oakland of our dreams.

The Living the Next Economy (LNE) Bay Area Collaborative is hosting the Living the Next Economy Oakland Convergence, October 21-23 at Oakstop. Inspired by local and national movements for racial and climate justice, we will shine the light on what’s working, what’s not, and what more we can do to build the inclusive, vibrant Oakland of our dreams. Included are two days of workshops, panels with local leaders, presentations, and self-organized open space sessions, followed by a day-long series of collaborative “Activation Sessions” for groups seeking mentorship and support in their policy campaigns, movement initiatives, or social enterprises.
