For contractors, landscape architects and do-it-yourselfers, we will cover everyting you need to know to grow gardens with recycled greywater. Topics covered include: permitting, biofiltration, drip vs gravity systems, earthvalve technology, treatment wetlands, soap selection and soil biophysics.

About the Instructor: A Sustainable futurist, infrastructure analyst and amateur naturalist, Nik Bertulis co-founded the water systems design/build firm Dig Cooperative that facilitated some of the first permitted greywater and rainwater systems in the bay area. He is also a co-founder of PLACE for Sustainable Living in North Oakland and currently teaches in the Environmental at Merritt College.
