Hello Transitioners!

TransitionKW is partnering with kwartzlab to host KW’s first-ever Repair Cafe this Saturday! Broken toaster? Sweater with moth holes? Don’t toss it - bring it out to the repair cafe. Get expert advice, get things fixed, and get inspired.

When: Saturday, November 9, 10am-2pm

Where: kwartzlab makerspace, 33 Kent Avenue, Kitchener

Let us know you’re coming and invite your friends! https://www.facebook.com/events/214649022043297/

In municipal politics, the Climate Action Plan is going to the city and regional councils, starting with Waterloo Council on Monday, November 4, at 7pm. To read more about the plan, and sign up to take action, go here: http://www.climateactionwr.ca/council-endorsement/.

And mark your calendars for our next monthly meeting, November 14 (7pm at 165 Albert Street, 3rd floor), and our next movie night on November 20, where we’ll be watching Shift.

For Transitioners looking to launch more into transition, check out Guelph’s Transition Training, which is happening November 9-10. More info here: http://www.transitionguelph.org/events.php
