It looks good!
The International Workshop is being offered by some of the original founders of the Cuban movement including Dr. Nilda Perez, expert on ecological pest management. Dr. Fernando Funes, another founder of this movement is leading the tour, which also looks phenomenal and well organized. The tour is going to be in Artemesia where Finca Marta, a beautiful and well known agroecological farm resides. There are also opportunities to present papers on your work.
The amazing Vermont Carribean Institute (VCI) under the leadership of the equally amazing Dr. Margarita Fernandez, is facilitating registration and participation for US Citizens, so for more information click on the link below and connect with VCI directly. If you would like to register directly with the Cuban ACTAF team, write to eve...@actaf.co.cu. Let them know Maria Whittaker of the Kansas Chapter of Family Farm Defenders referred you!
