Dear all,

Two weeks have past since the Transition C-CH neighborhood meeting; we had planned on meeting around now.  I am sorry for not organizing this as promised.  I realize we should divide up tasks since as a minimum, when volunteer organizing happens, with two or more doing the work, accountability from each other is more likely to happen.  I appreciate some of the e-mails received today asking about the meeting.

In lieu of the meeting that we were supposed to have around now, there is an interesting --and seemingly very much related to our efforts-- Neighbors for Responsible Growth meeting happening tomorrow Sunday from 3-5 p.m. at 523 E. Franklin St. (the former Chapel Hill Museum). "The purpose of the meeting is to explore options for building on inter-neighborhood cooperation and participation in town governance, especially as it relates to growth in Chapel Hill."

More information about this meeting can be found here:

In the meantime I have set up another doodle to identify a time for our next Transition C-CH neighborhood meeting.  Please follow this link and provide your availabilities.

Also, the wiki has been updated.  Please improve as is fit.  Try keeping comments in the 'talk' section.  For the main body provide content central to our developing project.  For example neighborhood transition actions can be fleshed out in the respective neighborhoods headings as these develop.
