Dear all,
A reminder and location change announcement:
Seeing that 9 people have RSVP'd so far, Looking Glass is looking
smaller, SO
WE WILL MEET INSTEAD @ OPEN EYE CAFE in the BACKROOM.
I have checked in at the Open Eye Cafe and there is no reservation for
3 PM TOMMOROW, SATURDAY, see you then.

Dear all,
My apologies if you are receiving this message twice. I am forwarding
it as it did not go out to members who were already part of this
google group.
Our first meeting will be on Saturday, January 8, 2011 3:00 PM at the
Looking Glass Cafe. If anyone has available a better option for
meeting that is located in either Chapel Hill or Carrboro please let
me know as so far we are 9 who have rsvp'd and Looking Glass can
sometimes be crowded.
I have set up a wiki for us to organize ourselves and it can be viewed
here:

Please use the 'talk' tab for information that is brainstorm-type.
I look forward to working with all of you in this new year, on the
projects and actions that are based in the spaces where we have the
most power: with our neighbors and in our neighborhoods! These are
the spaces where the real and much needed urgent action to mitigate
and cope with both climate change and peak oil must be rooted.
Sincerely,
Sammy Slade
P.S. Does anyone have Mathew Palmer's e-mail address?
