I think the most effective argument for reading poetry in the article, "Why Poetry?" by Mark Polonsky is that “ It might reveal a new perspective, dazzle your mind’s eye,
broaden your inner vision”.  In the article, Mark had said that poetry expand our mind which means it helps us to accept and learn a variety of things.  So, we won’t be trapped inside a box when we encounter an obstacle.   Mark also compare poetry to yoga, and I think he is absolutely right.  Poetry give us many perspective on a certain topic, and this give us a new insight and a better understanding over a this topic.  This is exactly like yoga.  Yoga stretch our body and poetry stretch our mind.  Whenever we are reading a poem, there will always be a surprise for us.  We will find something new, something we never think about before in the poem.  Thus, our view of the world is broaden by poetry.

He was telling that the poem is not something you read a novel or newspaper and we have to read it slow and more times to understand what is the words mean. He saying that we know only the poem basic not the whole body like a children know how to swim but they do not how to swim well, so i think the most effective argument in the article is the poem have many meaning in there and we have to find it by yourself.

 The author's most efective argument for reading poetry is everything in the world which can make us imagery something or touch our feeling all can call "poetry". Read the poem not like read newspaper or norvels, we need separet to many pices to look at it. We need pay more attentiona to really understand the poem's theme or most inportant message.In page 3 the author said " A poem requires patience. that is why the first and most essential tool in our toolkit is patience." here reveals the author's opinion if we want to really understand the poem we need read once twice third and so on. Many deeper message hide behind the words. In differents ways to look at or think about the poetry, you will get more closer to the real theme.

      I think the most effective argument is patience and imagination.  If we have these two points to read poetry, we will understand it and no mistake. If we just read one time or two times, we cannot understand, we need read more times to feel and experience. We cannot because of it is hard to understand or something, so, we don’t keep going to read, that’s so terrible, we don’t understand the poetry forever. Imagination is also important, when we read poetry, we should imagine the poet’s feeling and poetry’s poetic. If the poetry have literary techniques, we need to imagine what is that mean and why poet will use it. Patience and Imagination are also important to us when we reading poetry, if we bring these two points to read, we can understand, we can do it.

Poetry contain words, and these words cast little spells as they sing in people' mind.Both poetry and music engage people' imagination, people must have imagination for music or poetry to derive interest.

Some poetry is indigestible, very hard to connect the word to word or sentence to sentence, so you need to go back to read more times until

In the last page, the author states the patience is to poetry as electricity  is to the vacuum cleaner. Good poetry, given patience, lights up your imagination in some way. It surprises you, tickles you, gives you a nudge, or even awes you. I think the most effective argument is ponder and image. Because when we read some  very difficult poem. We can't understand, what mean is the author really wants our to know. then we need to read again and again. Except of that, when we read the poem, we can try in our mind to image the scene.
