John Hanger- in York- Sunday-will be at Penn State York- 3:30

John Hanger, candidate for Gov. in 2014,  will be visiting the Dem. Women's Christmas party on Sunday at the Unitarian church- following that,appx. 3:30 we will be meeting with him at Penn State York, in their community building that is located next to the gym, at the lower level of the original buildings, near the large parking lot to provide an opportunity for county residents concerned about climate and environmental issues in York County,  to meet the candidate and ask questions. this is open to the public, and we send a big "thank you" to Penn State for providing the location for this meeting.

 

Hanger's campaign committee man would like to have an idea how many people might show up- there's room for at least 75 there- if anyone is planning to come , please email back so i have some idea what to expect- and feel free to send this on to others- it is open to the public and might be the only chance to have a discussion with the candidate.

Weather permitting, the plan to have John Hanger, former Sec. of DEP  in the Rendell Admin. meet with concerned York residents about environmental issues in the state, is still on track  for Sunday, Dec. 15th at PennState York campus, off Albermarle St, at Edgecomb Rd., 3:30pm, in the Community Building, next to the gym.  Hanger will be driving down from a meeting in N.Y. on Sunday morning, and baring any unforeseen events, he is expected to attend the discussion. We will be posting an update on this tomorrow close to 1:00pm if anything changes in the plan or if it is cancelled due to the weather. For now it looks like we will have mostly slushy driving  by mid afternoon so getting to the campus should be possible.

I went over to Penn State York and they are cleaning up the parking lot and walkways and still planning to open up the Community Room on the lower level for the meeting with John Hanger, who is on his way from N.Y. to York- so at this point everything is ready for the meeting of county residents concerned about environmental issues and discussing those with a candidate for Gov. John Hanger- please pass this along to those you know who might be interested- we will be meeting at the PennState campus at 3:30pm this afternoon, Sunday  Dec. 15-
